Today is Saturday, June 22 and the deadline is July 5.

So there’s exactly 14 days left for everyone to get petitions, collect signatures, and mail in your partially-filled and fully-filled petitions for Initiative 2066.

Petitions were hot off the press and the first place they popped up was at the King County GOP dinner on May 14. Folks were lining up to sign:

Since then, there’s been an overwhelmingly positive outpouring of support for it.

More than 2000 people asked for packets of petitions in the first 4 days from the LET’S GO WASHINGTON website.

It’s been an all-hands-on-deck effort.

I visited the great folks at the Family Policy Institute on May 23. Superstar Travis Pardo said he’d been inundated with requests to mail out petition packets to activists all across Washington.

Brandi Kruse had a “SUPER SIGNING EVENT” in Bellevue and tons of folks came by to sign.

This thing has mushroomed into something I’ve never seen before.
