Conservative activist Glen Morgan calls Brian Heywood “the anti-Eyman” — I totally agree!

I really admire and respect Glen Morgan.
Like me, he’s a full-time conservative activist.
Among his many projects, he periodically produces really informative YouTube videos.
His most recent video is around 13 minutes. I encourage you to watch it.
In it, he touches on something I’ve been thinking about for a while now.
He called Brian Heywood, the driving force behind the initiatives on this fall’s ballot, the “anti-Eyman.”
What a great way to put it.
BACKGROUND:
When I first “burst” onto the political scene after qualifying my first initiative ($30 tabs) in 1999, I was only 33 years old. I owned a small mail order business that I had started 10 years earlier. And I owned a 6 year old car (tabs for it were $148.50).
I was a little guy.
Big Business, Big Labor, politicians, and the press all ganged up and tore into me.
The Democrat state treasurer said I was “dumb as a brick, but that’s an insult to the brick.”
I was called a tax terrorist, a nitwit, clueless, a self-aggrandizing punk, a pig.
They spent $2.2 million trying to convince the voters to vote no because I was a bad guy.
Our advertising was me shooting my mouth off while wearing a colored t-shirt.
And guess what happened?
Voters overwhelmingly passed our initiative.
Thanks to all of you, for the next 20 years, I sponsored and qualified numerous statewide initiatives.
I did all sorts of stuff that drove our opponents crazy:
So they never changed tactics.
They never stopped following the same failed playbook.
They did it even more dramatically in 2019 when they spent millions telling the voters to vote no on “Tim Eyman’s Initiative 976”.
And once again, our advertising was me shooting my mouth off wearing a colored t-shirt.
What happened?
Their playbook failed again.
We chalked up another ballot box victory.
So it’s been proven time and time again over the past 20 years that voters were never swayed from voting for one of my initiatives because of opponents’ demonization of me.
So this election cycle along comes Brian Heywood and he’s got some initiatives for the voters to vote on this fall.
And opponents are not only following the same failed playbook — telling voters to vote no because he’s a bad guy — but they’re saying that he’s me.
It’s beyond baffling.
As Glen Morgan said, he’s the anti-Eyman.
He isn’t some smart-alecky 30 year old kid — he’s an adult.
He’s not destitute like me — he’s obviously a financially secure individual who used his own money to help the initiatives qualify.
When he turned in his petitions, he didn’t do this:
I’ve watched many of his interviews and he’s self-deprecating, understated, and humble.
Doesn’t sound like me.
Initiative opponents are backed by billionaires.
But all I’m seeing are cookie cutter ads that look really familiar.
Eyman Derangement Syndrome (the EDS that a blue pill won’t help with) is alive and well.
For a while there I thought I had lost my touch. It’s nice to know that I’m still living rent-free in liberals’ heads.
— END —
Is it any wonder Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?
How evil is he?
After 12 years of investigation and litigation resulting in the AG taking my house and draining all my bank accounts, he didn’t stop.
He then went after Karen, our kids, and our relatives.
It’s demonic.
With the brilliant legal assistance of Richard Sanders, I am appealing the AG’s ridiculously unconstitutional ruling because it’s so absurd:
