Fighting for taxpayers for 28 years

I’m in another court battle for Parents Rights.

It’s at 3:00 pm on Friday in Olympia (Friday, July 11).

We fought hard to stop the Democrats from passing House Bill 1296.

We did our best when we were allowed to testify:

And also when they didn’t let us testify:

Democrats knew the citizens were against what they were doing and that’s why they tried all they could to shut down all dissent.

In the end, they passed it anyway.

All the way until the end, I did everything I could to show them the people were against it:

I’m very proud that the official bill signing photo forever memorializes our collective opposition:

Now that they’ve gutted the original Parents Rights Initiative, it will take a new initiative to reinstate the Washington Parents’ Bill of Rights as originally written in Initiative 2081.

For many months, the ACLU has been delaying the start date for any “Restore the Parents Rights Initiative” signature drive by filing what are called “ballot title challenges”.

To counter their delays, I’ve been filing my own challenges in order to secure earlier court dates to get this adjudicated as quickly as possible.

This Friday @ 3:00 pm, the ACLU, the AG, and I are in court in Olympia arguing over this initiative’s ballot title.

What makes this newest court battle particularly significant is this Parents Rights Initiative is sponsored by initiative superstar Brian Heywood.

The best news is that no matter how the judge rules on Friday, the ACLU’s delays will be over and petitions will no longer be blocked from being printed.

I urge EVERYONE to watch it one way or another.

TO SEE IT IN PERSON: If at all possible, I urge you to join me in the courtroom — it’s this Fri, July 11, 3:00 pm (I’ll be there at 2:30pm), Olympia, Thurston County Courthouse, 2000 Lakeridge Dr, Building 2, Judge Anne Egeler’s courtroom.

As I’ve said many times, judges act differently when the courtroom is packed so I hope to see you there.

Here’s a bunch of great friends who attended a recent court hearing:

WATCH IT ON ZOOM: if you can’t come in person, you can watch it on ZOOM. Click on this link at 3:00 pm to watch it. That link should take you directly to Judge Egeler’s courtroom hearing but if it doesn’t, ZOOM will ask for the Meeting ID number (which is 846-3408-9705#) and the Passcode (1234).

LISTEN TO IT ON YOUR PHONE: Call this number at 3:00 pm to listen to the hearing on your phone: 253-215-8782. When you call, it’ll ask you for the Meeting ID number followed by # (846-3408-9705#) and then it’ll ask for the Passcode (1234).

As you know, I’m not an attorney.

That’s why I want EVERYONE watching.

Because it always goes better when I’ve got my friends behind me.

Is it any wonder why Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?

I urge you to help me fight back against the AG’s abuse of power by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so that Richard Sanders can get this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.

I need your help to make sure this absurd legal precedent is never used against anyone else.
