On Friday, the Democrats voted to take away the People’s Right to Vote on Tax Increases. To the Republicans: “Good effort.” To the Democrats: “Shame on you!”

It’s not an accident the Democrats scheduled the debate and floor vote late Friday night after the TV and print reporters had left and families across Washington were focused on getting ready for Easter Day weekend.
House Republicans never looked better fighting to defend the People’s Right to Vote on Tax Increases. Their members gave some of the best floor speeches I’d ever heard. They were very effective at illustrating how absurd the Democrats’ arguments were.
House Democrats never looked worse trying SO HARD to justify taking away the People’s Right to Vote on Tax Increases (and to keep their future tax votes a secret, hide the taxes that will be increased, shroud how much those tax increases will cost the taxpayers, and rob the citizenry of the VOTER-DEMANDED right to express an OPINION on their insatiable tax appetite).
It was a David versus Goliath battle because there are many more Democrats than Republicans in the state House.
And the cause fascism reigns supreme among the crazy crop of Democrats who are running things this session.
In every way that matters, Seattle’s Kshama Sawant is the leader of the Democrat Party:
It’s worth watching the floor debate (click on the image below to watch this epic battle):
Again, members of the GOP gave some of the best floor speeches I’ve ever heard them give.
Passionate and persuasive with complete solidarity toward the people’s right to speak and vote and be heard.
Only a handful of Democrats spoke on it.
Their remarks would’ve made George Orwell proud. They were completely incoherent (“this bill enhances democracy by taking away the people’s right to vote.” Really? Yes, really.)
Sometimes it’s a challenge to illustrate the Democrats’ lust for UNLIMITED POWER.
On Friday, it was easy to see.
But after a lengthy debate with lots of amendments offered, all the Republicans voted against the Democrats’ bill taking away the People’s Right to Vote on Tax Increases (even a handful of Democrats realized how dictatorial and wrong this was and voted with the GOP) but the bill nonetheless passed because the Democrats had made this a top legislative priority.
And now, since the Democrats in the Senate already passed it, it now goes to Inslee’s desk for his signature (this is the same Governor who illustrated for nearly 1000 days that he doesn’t care one whit about the opinions of the people).
So the Democrats have now taken away the People’s Right to Vote on Tax Increases.
It’s maddening.
It’s infuriating.
But it’s also very educational.
This vote illustrates which politicians care what you think and which ones don’t.
Is it any wonder the AG is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?
I urge you to help me survive this political persecution by donating to my legal defense fund so that Richard can get the AG’s ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned:
With your help, I will keep fighting for the people across our nation with initiatives, lawsuits, lobbying, and helping elect more freedom-loving elected officials.
I love you all.
Onward!
