I’ve been busy. Here’s an important update on my latest efforts.

Fighting for taxpayers for 28 years

I absolutely agree with this:

Find what you love to do and you’ll never work a day in your life.

I’ve been going a million miles an hour since January and yet none of it feels like work.

And that’s because I’m continuing to do what I was born to do: serving as a conservative political activist.

I’ve been especially busy lately — here’s my latest update:

Monday, June 23: After weeks of legal briefs going back-and-forth, I was finally in court yesterday giving oral argument against the ACLU and the AG regarding initiatives that restore the Parents Bill of Rights (which Ferguson and the Democrats gutted with House Bill 1296).

Thank you Kristi, Sherri, Klaus, & Laurie — it helped a lot having you there:

After nearly an hour of verbal jousting, the judge took a 20 minute recess, came back, and ruled this will be the official description:

This initiative concerns parental rights relating to their children in public school. This measure would repeal amendments to a statute listing certain rights of parents and guardians of public-school children and re-enact the law as it was originally enacted by Initiative to the Legislature 2081. Should this measure be enacted into law? Yes [ ] No [ ]

That’s pretty darn clear.

If the decision is made that this is the initiative to proceed with, petitions can now be printed without delay. Stay tuned on that.

Monday, June 23: Because Secretary of State Steve Hobbs didn’t follow the law and refused to send the AG my referendum on House Bill 1296, I filed a Recall Petition on him. Even though he clearly violated his oath of office by not doing what the law clearly required him to do, the judge let him off the hook. So yesterday, I filed my Notice of Appeal and will argue for this recall before the state supreme court.

The law requires them to hear this appeal in the next 15 days. Stay tuned on this.

Thursday, June 19: I was very honored to be invited to be the main speaker for the 47th District GOP meeting. Really wonderful people:

The subject of my talk was the overall cost to taxpayers from Ferguson’s 1st session as Governor.

The numbers are staggering.

By way of comparison, Jay Inslee, after 12 legislative sessions, cost the taxpayers $62.3 billion

Bob Ferguson, after 1 session, cost the taxpayers $33.9 billion.

So Bob Ferguson in 1 year cost the taxpayers OVER HALF what it took Inslee 12 years to do.

Our fight for the people of the state of Washington is needed now more than ever.

No wonder Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity!

I urge you to help me fight back against the AG’s abuse of power by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so that Richard Sanders can get this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.

I need your help to make sure this absurd legal precedent is never used against anyone else.
