Regardless of the election results tomorrow, the fight continues. I’m committed, are you? Join me in Bellevue to celebrate together (Tues, Nov 5th, 7:30pm, Bellevue Hyatt Regency, 900 Bellevue Way NE).

Mon, Nov 4, 2024

To: Our thousands of supporters throughout the state
(cc’d to the media, house & senate members, and Governor, and other candidates for office)

From: Tim Eyman

For years, we’ve all worked together scraping and scratching and clawing to elect our preferred candidates to represent us — at the federal, state, and local levels — and to qualify and pass pro-taxpayer, pro-liberty initiatives in Washington and in states across our nation.

And we all obviously want every one of our preferred candidates to win and for every one of our initiatives to pass.

But in the political arena, things don’t work that way.

It’s always a mixed bag — we score some victories and we chalk up some losses.

2 important things to always keep in mind:

1) The glass is always half full. Spend your time focusing on the victories, they’re all over the place if you’re willing to look. And there are always silver linings in the losses — the key to converting them into eventual successes is to learn, adapt, and persevere.

2) Regardless of the election results, the fight continues. Election night is not the end of our battle for freedom, it is the beginning. No matter the outcome, the tug-of-war will continue in our cities, our counties, our state, and our nation. I’m committed, are you?

I’ve always been annoyingly optimistic — life is too short and the stakes are too high for us not to be.

We can never let one election cycle define whether or not we will continue to fight.

The other side will never stop pulling the rope in favor of higher taxes and less liberty — we must stand together and pull the rope even harder in favor of lower taxes and more freedom.

I hope you’ll join me tomorrow night at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency (900 Bellevue Way NE — free parking — yay!).

Almost all of the GOP candidates are celebrating there too.

And Jim Walsh, sponsor of the LetsGoWA initiatives, is celebrating there too.

There will be huge TV screens everywhere reporting on the election results for President, US Senate, Congress, statewide races, etc.

Besides celebrating the election results together, it’s a chance for me to shake your hand and thank you for your friendship and support over the past 2+ decades.

Look forward to seeing you.

As you know, for the past 12 years, I’ve been in a political death match with Bob Ferguson.

Thanks to your support, I am appealing the AG’s ridiculously unconstitutional ruling against me because it’s so absurd:

* Lifetime ban on all future political activity?
* I’m no longer a person, I’m forever designated a ‘continuing political committee’?
* $5.5 million?
* Prohibiting me from earning money for the rest of my life?

Please help me fight back against the AG’s abuse of power by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund RIGHT NOW!
