Fighting for taxpayers for 28Â years
No matter how many times I go to Olympia for a court hearing, I get nervous.
There are lots of reasons.
One is certainly the fact I’m not an attorney so I often have no idea what I’m doing (but I don’t let that stop me). Â

But the biggest reason I get the shakes is because I know I’m there representing all of you and the millions of fellow citizens who support what I’m fighting for.Â
Tomorrow I’m battling the AG, the ACLU, and the judge.
It’s fight over an initiative sponsored by superstar Brian Heywood.

Backed by his amazing team at Let’s Go Washington and the overwhelming support of the voters, the Parents Rights Initiative (I-2081) got passed into law last year (along with several other initiatives).
It was an incredible accomplishment.Â
Opponents filed a lawsuit but the courts upheld the initiative.
But during this year’s legislative session, the Democrats gutted it and Ferguson’s signed it into law.

Fortunately, Brian Heywood anticipated this move and filed various initiatives to restore it.Â
The one we’re fighting over tomorrow gets rid of their changes and reenacts the law so it’ll be worded EXACTLY the way it was before.
The court hearing tomorrow concerns the AG’s official description of the initiative (ballot title). The ACLU challenged it to delay the signature drive. I challenged it to secure the earliest court date possible.
I urge EVERYONE to watch it one way or another.
TO SEE IT IN PERSON: If at all possible, I urge you to join me in the courtroom — it’s tomorrow, Friday, July 11, 3:00 pm (I’ll be there at 2:30pm), Olympia, Thurston County Courthouse, 2000 Lakeridge Drive, Building 2, Judge Anne Egeler’s courtroom.
WATCH IT ON ZOOM: if you can’t come in person, you can watch it on ZOOM. Click on this link at 3:00 pm to watch it. That link should take you directly to Judge Egeler’s courtroom but if it doesn’t, ZOOM will ask for the Meeting ID number (846-3408-9705#) and the Passcode (1234).
LISTEN TO IT ON YOUR PHONE: Call this number at 3:00 pm to listen to the hearing on your phone: 253-215-8782. When you call, it’ll ask you for the Meeting ID number followed by # (846-3408-9705#) and then it’ll ask for the Passcode (1234).
After it’s over, I’ll certainly send out an update to let you know how it went.
The best news is that no matter how the judge rules, the ACLU’s delays will be over and petitions will no longer be blocked from being printed.Â

ABUSE OF POWER — Bob Ferguson has spent more taxpayer money going after me and my family than all other cases in the last 13 years COMBINED!Â
