I’m driving to Olympia now.

I’m in court today suing Bob Ferguson for violating the law on initiatives.

PRAYERS PLEASE: I want and need support.

Prayers answered — my case was reassigned to one of the good judges!

1:30pm – 2:30pm … keep me in your thoughts and send strength my way.

BELOW IS SAME THING I SENT OUT YESTERDAY BUT WITH UPDATES

I’m in court today (Friday, March 29, 1:30pm, 2000 Lakeridge Dr, Olympia at the Thurston County Courthouse, it’s being heard in Judge Chris Lanese courtroom)

If you can join me there, that’d be great.

I’m suing the AG for violating the law on initiatives.

Governor-Wanna-Be Bob when he’s been AG, he’s always had an unwritten – but consistent – policy where he treats initiatives differently depending on whether he supports them or not.

When it’s a conservative initiative he opposes, he sabotages it by violating the law and describing it very negatively (or unconstitutionally).

I got in the AG’s face for doing that with our $30 Tabs Initiative:

But for liberal initiatives he supports — which is all of them — Governor-Wanna-Be Bob helps it along by giving it a fluffy, positive ballot title.

And when he does that, he violates the law which mandates he write an unbiased description of the initiative.

It’s referred to as the neutrality law.

Well, I learned that the AG got in bed with a liberal activist who’s sponsoring a destructive “Rent Control Initiative.”

If you’ll remember, we really tore it apart when it was a bill this session:

And fortunately, we managed to kill that bill.

But knowing how the crazies think, I just knew they’d push this asinine policy as an initiative.

So after the session ended, I monitored the Secretary of State’s website for new initiative filings.

And lo and behold, I saw this one on rent control which is the same as the bill we killed.

A week later, after the AG predictably violated the neutrality law and issued his biased description in favor of the “Rent Control Initiative,” I sued the AG for violating the law and challenged his biased ballot title.

So tomorrow I’ll be squaring off with the AG in court.

If you can join me there, that’d be great.

I’d sure appreciate having friends there to support this important battle.

Most importantly, I ask all of you for your prayers.

I’m not an attorney so I’ll be at quite a disadvantage.

But the way I look at it is this: regardless of the outcome, I firmly believe it’s absolutely critical to highlight Governor-Wanna-Be Bob’s 2-tiered treatment of initiatives.

Is it any wonder why Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?

I urge you to help me fight back against the AG’s abuse of power by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so that Richard Sanders can get this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.
