PRAYERS PLEASE: my court hearing against the AG is this Friday, June 7 @ 9am in Olympia. I ask you to please join me there – judges act differently when they know people are watching. But if you can’t attend in person, below are instructions to watch the hearing on ZOOM. And if you don’t do ZOOM, here’s a phone number that you can call & you can listen to it.

My lawsuit against the AG and the Secretary of State is this Friday.
I’m challenging their bushwhack attack on the initiative process when they unilaterally raised the initiative filing fee from $5 to $156.
Only the Legislature can do that.
It’s an abuse of power and I’m asking the judge to rule against them.
SEE IT IN PERSON: If at all possible, I urge you to join me in the courtroom this Friday, June 7, 9:00 am, Olympia, Thurston County Courthouse, 2000 Lakeridge Dr, Building 2, Judge Chris Lanese courtroom is on the 2nd floor. Judges act differently when the courtroom is packed so I hope to see you there. Here’s a bunch of great friends who attended the last hearing – love ’em all!
WATCH IT ON ZOOM: if you can’t come in person, you can watch it on ZOOM. Click on this link at 9:00 am to watch it. That should take you directly to Judge Lanese hearing but if it doesn’t, ZOOM will ask for the Meeting ID number (which is 990-7988-8683#) and the Passcode (12345).
LISTEN TO IT ON YOUR PHONE: Call this number at 9:00 am to listen to the hearing on your phone: 253-215-8782. When you call, it’ll ask you for the Meeting ID number followed by # (990-7988-8683#) and then it’ll ask for the Passcode (12345).
So this Friday morning I’ll be in court standing before Judge Lanese.
I’ve done a lot of these but I still get really nervous because I’m not an attorney.
But knowing that so many of my friends are with me and pulling for me and praying for me gives me a great deal of strength and decreases my stress level dramatically.
The Secretary of State and the Attorney General are attacking Jim Walsh for successfully qualifying 6 initiatives to the legislature — an amazing accomplishment — and they’re trying to stop him from ever doing it again.
But their assault on the initiative process hurts everyone because it means the voters will have fewer initiatives to support in the future.
That’s why this case is so important.
From now until Friday, please send me your prayers and all the positive vibes you can — they definitely help.
Is it any wonder why Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?
I urge you to help me fight back against the AG’s abuse of power by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so that Richard Sanders can get this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.

Hi Tim cleaned decided to give feedback on here addressing the closing argument brief as I badly needed to clean up my parts of my email . I really like your closing argument. It outlined how the voters and initiative promoters were both harmed by these outrageous filing fees! Seems to me you prove the harm to the right to initiative as well ! Thanks again !
