Bob Ferguson has been running for Governor for 12 years.

He’s been doing it by targeting conservatives.

He sued Trump 99 times, a grandmother who didn’t want to provide flowers for a gay wedding, a football coach for praying after football games.

Then he came after me.

The complaint against me was filed 12 years ago.

On day one, at a splashy press conference, Ferguson announced he’d never settle the case (the AG did settle with the Green River killer but not me).

At that initial press conference, Ferguson clearly said his lawsuit was about “silencing Tim Eyman” and “removing Tim Eyman” from the political process.

But what many people don’t know is this:

He didn’t just go after me.

He targeted my family.

During the many years of investigation, Ferguson demanded that Karen be interrogated.

My attorneys said she didn’t have to because of spousal privilege.

The AG demanded we prove it.

So we had to file exhibits like these:

Ferguson’s response?

“Those only prove they were married, how do we know they’re still  married?”

Really?

Yes, really.

After many months of costly litigation, despite spousal privilege protections, Ferguson nonetheless forced Karen to be interrogated for 3 hours.

She was a full-time mom who had no involvement in my political efforts (which the AG already knew) so his interrogation of her was pure harassment.

But even that wasn’t enough.

After Ferguson had taken everything I had, he went after Karen again.

Ferguson assigned 6 attorneys to target her (they even tried to take away her modest IRA).

The AG’s top priority was taking away the house so Karen and the kids would be homeless.

Karen’s sister Carol generously allowed me to rent her extra condo so I’d have somewhere to live.

And for that, Ferguson went after her too.

It’s one thing for Ferguson to use the full weight and power of the government going after me.

But targeting my family?

It’s pure evil.

His abuse of power must be challenged.
