This year’s legislative session is over.

That means we’re safe for another year.

It’s really important for all of us to take some well-deserved victory laps.

By working together, we stopped A LOT of bad bills:

* Senate Bill 5770 would’ve eliminated the 1% property tax cap. That tax initiative by us was overwhelmingly passed by voters in 2001 and reenacted by the legislature in 2007.

Nearly 8000 of you signed in opposed and I’m certain THAT was a huge factor in killing off this costly bill.

 

* House Bill 2114 would’ve imposed catastrophic rent control which would’ve led to the total decimation of housing availability & affordability in our state.

The Democrats were itchin’ to pass it but your emails and testimony put it in the grave.

* We also stopped the bills that would’ve made it easier for governments to raise property taxes using bonds (they tried to lower the vote threshold from 60% to 50%):

We also stopped A LOT of other bad bills too — I’m only listing some of the biggies.

All of you did an outstanding job answering my repeated calls to send emails and provide passionate testimony.

Our efforts together clearly paid off — WAYDA GO!!!!!

And you all made history: 3 of Jim Walsh’s conservative initiatives were passed into law:

I firmly believe the voters will pass Jim Walsh’s 3 remaining initiatives in November (the initiative repealing Inslee’s Capital Gains Income Tax, the initiative ending Inslee’s Cap & Tax Scheme, and the initiative allowing workers to opt-out of Inslee’s Long-Term Health Scam).

All of these massive victories never would’ve happened if not for us working together.

Y’all deserve gold medals for our teamwork.

Now I ask / urge / beg you to donate to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so I can fight back against Bully Bob Ferguson’s attack on me and my family.

After the AG forced me into bankruptcy and took away my home and drained all my bank accounts, that evil little weasel didn’t stop there.

He then targeted Karen, our kids, my relatives, and other people who are close to me.

For 12 years, the Democrat AG has spent and wasted more taxpayer dollars going after me than ALL OTHER CASES in the last 12 years COMBINED!

Don’t let Bob Ferguson get away with this.

Please donate to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so that my attorney Richard Sanders can get this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.

On numerous occasions, Bob Ferguson has put tremendous pressure on me to give in.

But if I did that, he’d use this as a precedent and target others.

And I cannot, and will not, let that happen.

Please help me make sure Bob Ferguson never does this to anyone else ever again.
