The Democrats’ bill to gut the Parents Rights Initiative had a hearing last Thursday.

Over 5500 regular citizens signed in CON, just 1300 signed in PRO. 

That’s 80.5% OPPOSED.

So not surprisingly, the room was PACKED with citizens who took the time on a weekday to drive to Olympia to testify against it.

The Democrats knew they were going against what the people want.

So what did the Democrats do?

They PREVENTED citizens opposed to the bill from testifying.

Instead, over and over and over again, they called on people who were PRO on the bill, going out of their way to give preference to people who were testifying remotely (who weren’t even in the room!). 

This farce went on for over an hour!

After the last 3 testifiers — all in favor of the bill — were finished, the Democrat chair announced that the bill’s hearing was over.

Totally outrageous.

So I got up and sat down and spoke anyway.

The first part of the video below is what “got out” on TVW.

“On behalf of the people who are in this room who drove here, they should have the right to be able to speak …”

At that point, they shut off the mic and called in security.

But if you keep watching the video until the end, you’ll hear everything I said — thanks to my cell phone — before I was shut down (it takes just 50 seconds to watch the whole thing):

Yes, that’s right, they called in security because a regular citizen was calmly telling them “YOU’RE NOT LISTENING” and they proved it by shutting off the mic and refusing to listen.

Isn’t that just a perfect example for how the Democrats are doing things in Olympia this session?

THE SILENCED MAJORITY
