The final day at the Snohomish County GOP booth was incredible.

First of all, the awesome activists who “worked the booth” with me were wonderful people who I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know.

The folks who came by the booth were incredibly engaged and enthusiastic and very happy to sign petitions for Jim Walsh’s initiatives. 



Earlier today, I was writing a thank you message to GOP leader Jeff Hastings for allowing me to “join the team” in the final days of the fair.



But before I finished it, before I could hit send, I received this incredibly thoughtful message from him:

Tim it was a pleasure working together with you at the Monroe Fair. 

Your presence at the booth was an absolute boon to the signature gathering process. Having a celebrity working side-by-side with our team really helped. Your gregarious nature, huge smile, and infectious enthusiasm captured many people who would have otherwise walked right on by. Your use of humor to engage people was hilarious!  

You were a magnet who attracted people to flock to the booth when they heard you were there. The electricity you generated transferred into the others on the team. Everyone stepped their game up when you were there! One older gentleman came by early in the day and was really disappointed that you hadn’t arrived yet. He promised to come back later just so he could meet you. And when he came back, you didn’t disappoint — you two talked and laughed and hugged. You were a total magnet for fair attendees drawing them in to sign in droves and helped increase our overall signature numbers BIG TIME!  

With your help, we captured more signatures in the last 3 days than we did in the first 9! Thank you for taking the time to come and assist us in collecting signatures for Jim Walsh’s initiatives at our booth! I thoroughly enjoyed the time we had together.
