Priority on Thursday was 4pm hearing on the bill eliminating the 1% property tax cap. But I wanted to “warm up” so I testified at a 1:30pm hearing on several other bad bills. Watch them and let me know what you think.

When testifying on bills, they only give you 60 seconds to make your points.

It’s nerve racking and stressful.

But like anything, if you practice, you can make yourself more comfortable.

Knowing that the 4pm testimony was so critical, I went to a 1:30pm hearing the same day to “warm up.”

About 15 minutes later, I was called to testify on the 2nd bad bill — (watch it here):

And then it was my turn on the last bill which was the worst of the 3 bad bills:

Let me know what you think of those.

After all that practice, I was ready for the 4pm hearing on SB 5770 eliminating our 1% property tax cap — you can click here to watch it (it was in yesterday’s update):

Working together, we’re sending a very loud and powerful message to Olympia: DON’T PASS BILLS RAISING TAXES.

I’m so grateful to all of you who emailed, testified, and submitted written testimony.

Together, we are being heard.

Is it any wonder that Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?
