YOUÂ ALL DID GREAT.
A whopping 12,124 citizens signed in CON against the bill.
That’s truly incredible.
Only 128 signed in PRO — all of whom represented the governments and the Public Interest GroupS (PIGS) that would get the higher taxes.
Those 12,124 citizens who signed in CON really helped amplify our voices when we testified.

That was on the 1st bill that TRIPLED how much each government can automatically increase property taxes EVERY YEAR.

But I nonetheless feel like I’m representing all of you.

Do the Democrats even care what we say? I mean, they control both houses and the executive branch, and continue to win seats fairly easily each election.
How do we get more Republicans registered so we can slowly peel off seats from their majority rule in both houses, and how on earth can we ever win the governorship?

Mock or rip?
Neither will be *effective *to get them to change their fixed ideas, which are solidly in place. Having citizens appear and speak before them is a charade – it\’s a disingenuous show of \”fairness\” and \”open mindedness\”, with the false notion that they are gathering information by listening to decide what to do.
What would be effective would be hard statistics in their face pointing out how such a bill, if passed, would turn whatever number or percentage of their constituents against them – numbers making it real that people who voted for them in the past would be hit hard and upset about their new taxes and not vote to keep these people in their positions again.
That would penetrate their social veneer and impinge – stabbing their feelings of job security.
Another thing that works requires investigation into their personal lives to find their crimes and financial bribes. Find those secrets (and they DO have them) and noisily publish/disseminate them. That freaks them out – the light of truth – and sometimes makes them resign.

Hi Tim, My property tax bill increased over 26% this year, and that\’s with the supposed 1% cap still in place. Apparently, they found a way to circumvent the 1% cap, just as they did with the $30 tabs. Why are they even trying to pass HB 1334? If they raise taxes any faster, they\’ll own all the property, and we will just be renters, just like the serfs in medieval times. It really irks me.

Dear Tim, I wrote an email to all of our senators and house members. urging them to vote against any tax raises. I only got one reply from a new senator from Chelan county and he thanked me for my support. The rest of them must be all rhinos or liberal democrats On the left. they\’re gonna raise our taxes. My farm is going bankRupt. My automotive business is going bankrupt and all my friends that have businesses are going bankrupt. And then we\’ve got Elon Musk, exposing the biggest largest Communist corruption in government and our State probably wrote the playbook on how to do it. How do we get Elon Musk to straighten our state out? We\’ve got to ask those questions. Where did the money go? Who took the money and who profited from it? Those are the questions you\’ve got to ask. Where is the accountability? Where is the audit trail? We can\’t get that. I’m on the Nextdoor app. A few are buying into this and the tax on gas per mile. I pointed out that their wages plus all the special interest that pay them, they make a lot more than most of us. They talk about all the millionaires/billionaires not being taxed enough. They are right, but why would they increase taxes on themselves.
I agree that the last thing we the property owners need is to supply the democrats with more of our tax money. They can’t even responsibly manage the funds they take now.
