I strongly oppose the attacks on the people’s initiative process with bills SB 5973, HB 2259, & HB 2260. Thanks to the help from the Secretary of State’s office, this makes it clear that there is no problem with Washington’s process.

Since 1999, 75 ballot measures have qualified and voters passed 24 liberal initiatives and 21 conservative initiatives.

The initiative process works for all of us.

25 million signatures turned in, not once has a bad signature ever been counted.

Sec of State Hobbs and former Sec of State Reed are against your attacks on the people’s right to initiative. I am too.

REJECT SB 5973, HB 2259, & HB 2260.
