One day of celebration just isn’t enough. 

So why not 2 weeks!!

Here’s me as a baby in my hometown of Yakima: 

I was born on December 22, 1965 and was immediately put up for adoption.

I was very fortunate to be chosen and very proud to become the youngest of those “Eyman kids”:

That’s my sister Denise and my brother Dan.

I did very well in school and my sport was wrestling.

I started out scrawny:

For years, I lost all the time.

But I stuck with it.

I wrestled in high school and did pretty well.

When I got an academic scholarship to WSU, I assumed I was done with it. 

But one of my best friends convinced me to become a “walk on” member of the team

I’m so happy I did.

I did pretty well — my sophomore year I placed 3rd in the PAC 10:

Wrestling taught me invaluable lessons that have really helped me in the political arena.

Persistence, never quitting, always staying on offense.

Despite all the awfulness over the past 13+ years being investigated, litigated, and persecuted by Bob Ferguson, I have so much to be thankful for.

First and foremost, Jeremy, Riley, & Jackson:

Adopting them has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

And I’m grateful for all of you.

I’ve been blessed with loving, generous, heroic friends who with their heartfelt prayers and support are helping me overcome the greatest challenge of my life. 

2 weeks from today is my 60th birthday.
