Fighting for taxpayers for 29 years

The political death match between me and Bob Ferguson has been going on for 13+ years.

(1) He took all my assets (my house, my retirement, drained all my bank accounts, took away every dollar I’d ever earned in my lifetime).

(2) He robbed me of my “personhood” because he got the court to designate me as a continuing political committee — so I’m not actually a person anymore.

(3) Because of (2), it is illegal for me to earn a living (can’t have a job inside or outside the political arena).

(4) The financial judgement against me was $5 million but because it accrues 12% per year, it’s now $8 million (it’ll be $9 million next year, $10 million the year after)

He’s spent more taxpayer money going after me and my family than all other cases in the last 13 years COMBINED.

By grinding on me year after year after year, the obvious goal was to get me to quit, to give up, to walk away, to leave.

He wanted to break me.

On that, he’s failed.

He’s failed because you’ve continued to stick with me.

Because of your prayers, moral support, and financial assistance to my legal defense fund, I’ve continued to fulfill my mission in life — and that’s to be a conservative political activist.

I can’t make any money doing it, but I’m continuing to do what I was born to do.

And I’m doing all of that to give VALUE while my case is on appeal.

And I’m appealing not just to remove these shackles they’ve put on me, but to make sure this never happens to anyone else.

Because as long as I’m appealing it, they can’t use it as a legal precedent against someone else.

We’re going to be notified soon when oral arguments will be heard (the legal brief by my attorneys is brilliant — you can read it here).

Over the years, we’ve all worked together and stopped a lot of bad bills. 

And there were other times when we didn’t stop a bad bill.

And when that happened, I did what I could to put a spotlight on it:

I think doing that is important and necessary.

But what gives me the greatest joy is battling with the AG in court about initiatives.

Last week, the judge sided with me (VICTORY!)

This week, the judge sided with the AG:

In about 2 weeks, I’ll be back in court battling against the AG about Jim Walsh’s initiative that repeals the Democrats’ new state income tax.

Why does it give me so much satisfaction?

Because win or lose, I show Bob Ferguson he didn’t break me.
