Ferguson radically more costly than Inslee (so says state budget office reports). Much worse than Inslee.

Fighting for taxpayers for 28 years

More costly than Jay Inslee.

Ya, I know, it’s hard to believe.

For 12 long years, we were forced to deal with a governor with an insatiable appetite for raising taxes even though as a candidate he emphatically and repeatedly promised to veto any tax increase

Once he got in, he didn’t waste any time.

At his very first press conference, Inslee immediately pushed for higher taxes, proposing to extend several tax increases that were set to expire.

As the Washington State Wire correctly reported: “A vote to reimpose an old tax is the same thing as a new tax.”

But Inslee claimed otherwise. “They are not tax increases,” Inslee said. “That is a numerical mathematical conclusion that Huskies and Cougars, no matter where you went to school, can agree with on a mathematical basis.”

Yes, he really said that. What an idiot.

For 12 years, Inslee pushed for every tax hike he could.

No proposal was out of bounds.

Inslee signed every tax increase that came across his desk.

He didn’t veto any of them.

The total cost to taxpayers?

$62.3 billion

And the thing that makes that $62.3 billion in higher taxes so much worse was that it was ON TOP OF the existing high tax burden after 8 years of Chris Gregoire …

After 8 years of Gary Locke …

And 4 years of Mike Lowry …

After all these awfully expensive governors, it just seemed inconceivable that anyone could be worse.

Enter Bob Ferguson.

During JUST ONE legislative session, here’s what the state budget office reports he’s cost the taxpayers so far:

$37.8 billion

Think about that.

It took Inslee 12 years to hit $62.8 billion.

Ferguson imposed OVER HALF THAT AMOUNT in just 5 months!

That stratospheric increase absolutely NECESSITATES regular taxpayers and successful citizens and businesses to escape to other states.

They have to — it’s simple math.

But guess what?

As bad as it’s gonna be after just 5 months of Ferguson, things are about to get EXPONENTIALLY more costly to have him as Governor.

Why?

Because his tax hiking extravaganza was imposed to fund the Democrats’ totally unsustainable spending spree BEFORE Ferguson’s new ideological war with the federal government where he’s saying he will forgo all federal tax dollars so he can keep illegals on the voter rolls, allow illegals to keep getting taxpayer-funded health care, and protect illegals from federal law enforcement officers.

When Bob Ferguson says no to federal funding, that means he’s going to force regular taxpayers and businesses to pay EVEN HIGHER STATE TAXES to fill the hole.

This is BEYOND reckless and IRREDEEMAMBLY irresponsible.

Bob Ferguson is putting WA state into a kamikaze dive that his ego and ideology will not allow him to pull out of.

And you and I are going to pay the price for it.

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I have to:

I MISS JAY INSLEE!

Yah, I know!

Our fight for the people of the state of Washington is needed now more than ever.

No wonder Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity!

I urge you to help me fight back against the AG’s abuse of power by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so that Richard Sanders can get this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.

I need your help to make sure this absurd legal precedent is never used against anyone else.
