Fighting for taxpayers for 28 years
I’ve received a tremendous amount of positive feedback for this:

I’ve been struck by the large number of people who believe this face-to-face confrontation was new for me.
Far from it:

When I confronted Jay Inslee for blocking our $30 Tabs in 2019, it was because of his lies, his arrogance, and the chaos of inaction.

More and more of them swarmed around me. It was hostile, it was intense. One woman kept saying “get the f— out of here, you’re not welcome here.” I calmly responded “no, this is a public place.” Then about 200 of them started chanting “Leave, leave, leave, leave.” It continued to escalate. I kept my hands in my pockets, looked each of them in the eye, and listened to them vent. They were enraged I was there, and bewildered I wasn’t backing down.

Anti-tax activist Tim Eyman faces off with former Governor Gary Locke following a news conference in favor of Initiative 1000, Oct 11, 2018, in Seattle. Locke is an outspoken proponent of the initiative which would reverse a 21-year-old ban on affirmative action — a ban that Eyman helped pass in 1998.

Despite our $30 Tabs Initiatives passing in 1999 and again in 2002, Governor Gregoire signed a bill in 2008 re-empowering local governments to once again unilaterally raise car tab taxes without a vote of the people.

Jay Inslee has his knee on the neck on millions of people he deems non-essential. Like all bullies, Inslee is weak and insecure.

In Olympia, a shouting match: Tim Eyman vs. state Sen. Adam Kline. Their longstanding feud boiled over this morning as lawmakers were back for a one-day special session to reinstate Eyman’s Initiative 747, a 1% cap on annual property tax hikes.
The Democrat-dominated Legislature overwhelmingly passed it (Senate 39-9, House 86-8) and Gov. Gregoire signed it into law in November 2007.

Tim Eyman versus Socialist Kshama Sawant and the Seattle City Clown-cil. “Kshama Sawant, you should be in jail, not behind a microphone.” I went into the lion’s den and defended taxpayers, the initiative process, and our $30 Tabs Initiative.

We must have the courage to speak truth to power.

Because of your support, I am appealing the AG’s ridiculously unconstitutional ruling because it’s so absurd:
* Lifetime ban on all future political activity?
* $8 million?
* Prohibiting me from earning money for the rest of my life?
* I’m no longer a person, I’m forever designated a ‘continuing political committee’?

The only reason I’m still here and I’m still fighting is because of the prayers, love, and support of wonderful friends like you who’ve seen this gross injustice and abuse of power and are willing to help.

I love you all.
Onward!
Tim
