SHERIFFS WIN AGAIN — it was an honor to stand among such courageous men & women. Friday’s court victory was just as satisfying as Wednesday’s court victory.

WOW, WOW, WOW!

2 legal challenges to the Democrats’ legislative assault on the independence of our county sheriffs and the people’s right to vote for them.

2 court victories.

1st victory was on Wednesday.

That was a lawsuit filed by a couple of “sitting” sheriffs who want to run for reelection:

The judge agreed to their request for a preliminary injunction.

That put this ridiculous law on hold.

It’s important to know that one of the biggest criteria to a judge who is being asked to grant an injunction is that there is a “strong likelihood of success on the merits.” It’s not set in stone, but this judge clearly believes this law is likely unconstitutional.

The 2nd victory was yesterday.

It was challenged by a candidate for sheriff in Kitsap County – Rick Kuss.

He won.

There were several heroes in that courtroom that made this victory happen:

HERO #1: attorney Joel Ard ran rings around the AG yesterday. He is beyond brilliant, well prepared, quick on his feet, and made the AG look foolish on several occasions. It was a real thrill to see him in action again.

HEROES #2: Rick Kuss, a very courageous candidate for Kitsap County sheriff who fought for his right to run for this position and for every other citizen’s right to run for office and for every voter’s right to vote:

HERO #3: the EVER PRESENT, FOREVER DILIGENT Carleen Johnson, Associate Editor for The Center Square who showed up in person to cover it:

Right after the hearing, she posted her story and a short video about it.

HERO #4: Judge Christine Schaller for TWICE ruling that this indefensible law should not take effect until there is a final ruling on its constitutionality.

This is a HUGE victory for the good guys and a stunning rebuke to the Democrats.

After being hit with such a spectacular loss on Wednesday, Ferguson/Brown’s lackey Noah Purcell didn’t show up for Friday’s court hearing:

Instead, he sent in a kid who looked like he just got out of law school (but I gotta admit — I was pretty jealous of him — look at the full head of hair!)

And I think it was very enduring that he brought along his mother.

Thanks to super-camera-man Joe with the Lynnwood Times, you can watch the entire hearing here (click on the image below — be prepared — it lasts 1 hour, 35 minutes):

As always, I welcome your feedback.

For 29 years, I’ve been fighting for our state and our nation.

Is it any wonder Bully Bob Ferguson is trying so hard to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?

I urge you to help me survive this political persecution by donating to the Tim Eyman Legal Defense Fund so we can get the AG’s ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.
